You know those people everyone dislikes -- those people who love mornings. Well, I am one of those people. I LOVE mornings. If I sleep in past ten o' clock, I feel like I've wasted my whole day -- think of all the things I could have gotten done in those four hours if I'd just been up at six!
Furthermore, I really, really, really, really, really love breakfast. Filling my tummy with delicious things after a night of, sometimes great -- sometimes not-so-great, rest. Starting my day with a nutritious and delicious meal sets my whole day up to be a win. Plus, breakfast food in general just makes puts my taste buds over the moon.
Some days I enjoy a weightier breakfast of pancakes or french toast -- often accompanied by a fruit plate. Other days, it's just a fruit and nut plate. I try to always have some form of healthy fats, carbohydrates, and protein -- always plant sources. But, sometimes I just wrap all of these things up into a yummy smoothie, that I can easily take with me on-the-go if I need to.
This smoothie was SO delicious and left me feeling energized and totally ready for whatever the day ahead held for me.
Green Delicious Breakfast Smoothie
2 bananas
1 green apple
1 orange
1 kiwi
1/2 cup pineapple
1/3 cup coconut meat
1 cup spinach
1/4 cup walnuts
enough purified water to blend it all up smoothly!
Blend it all together, and ENJOY!
